Wednesday, 24th June 2009
Established sandwich operator Boulangerie has opened its first store in Broadmead following the acquisition of 3 Union Street, Bristol, BS1.
The company, which currently has stores in Clifton and Bath as well as two in London (Goodge Street and Victoria), has built a strong reputation for the quality of its sandwiches and for its special baguettes which are baked on site and sold at reasonable prices. Their take-away range also includes salads, mixed grills and food with a continental influence.
The new store is prominently located adjacent to Specsavers on Union Street, close to its busy junction with Wine Street and opposite the entrance to The Mall Bristol. The property provides a ground floor sales area of 749 sq ft (69.95 sq m) and benefits from ancillary basement accommodation of 588 sq ft (54.63 sq m).
Nick King of specilaist property asset managers Urbina commented: "We are delighted to welcome this new retailer to central Bristol, especially one with such a good reputation and I am sure their offer will prove popular with both shoppers and the office workers in the vicinity."
