STRICTLY CEROC DANCE THIS SATURDAY IN BROADMEAD

Tuesday, 6th July 2010

On Saturday 10th July the streets of Broadmead will be coming alive with one of the greatest dance sensations to sweep the nation.

Ceroc dancing is a fast-paced, exciting mix of Salsa and Rock ‘n’ Roll and Bristol group CeRoc will be demonstrating their skills to Broadmead shoppers on Broadmead West outside Marks & Spencer between 11am – 3pm.

Since the early 80’s Ceroc has developed its own unique style which is easy to learn with no complicated footwork. It is a combination of various partner dance styles, including salsa, modern jive, rock ‘n’ roll, swing, lindy hop and Latin and can be danced to everything from salsa music to modern pop hits.
Jo Hawkins, Broadmead Project Manager, said: “Broadmead is always keen to have family-friendly entertainment and Strictly Ceroc Dance will be a fantastic addition to the Broadmead shopping experience.

“There is going to be a great atmosphere with over ten couples taking to the floor, as well as an open invite to anyone who wants to join in. So, while you’re stocking up on the latest fashion essentials, why not check out the performers, listen to some great music and maybe even learn a few moves yourself!”
