BRISTOL LAUNCHES INTERACTIVE CAR PARKING MAP FOR CITY CENTRE SHOPPERS
Friday, 13th May 2011
A new interactive map has been launched to help shoppers easily discover a wide range of new car parking options in Bristol city centre.
As the region’s premier fashion and leisure destination, Bristol has improved its car parking offer to meet the needs of the increasing number of shoppers visiting the city centre. There is a very wide variety of car parking options available in the city centre, including Cabot Circus, The Galleries, many NCP locations and Gardiner Haskins. All car parks have highlighted their most up-to-date parking tariffs with helpful information to guide each car-borne shopper to find the most suitable car parks in the city centre shopping area. These are now clearly illustrated on an interactive map developed by tourism management organisation, Destination Bristol, and available on www.visitbristol.co.uk/parking
The map features a series of parking locations in and around the main shopping area, allowing full access to details of each car park’s opening hours, parking capacity, hourly tariff and other useful information. This is designed to help shoppers choose the most suitable car park based on how long they wish to spend in the city centre retail area.
