Public Safety
Broadmead is a pleasant, safe and enjoyable environment in which people of all ages enjoy shopping, spending time with their friends and taking advantage of the entertainment, cafes and restaurants in the area.
Public safety is our priority and Broadmead, The Galleries and Cabot Circus are all covered by CCTV cameras for the benefit of all our customers. In addition, The Galleries and Cabot Circus both have security teams which patrol their shopping centres providing reassurance for customers.
Broadmead, The Galleries and Cabot Circus shopping areas are covered by a police team comprising 5 police officers and 4 PCSOs.

- PCSOs - Lindsey Aldington, Remi Prierra (pictured below right), Warren Vincent-Rodgers - PCSO of the year for Bristol (pictured below left) and William Russell
The aim of the team is to:
- Provide a high-profile policing presence
- Provide reassurance to customers
- Provide a deterrent to all anti-social behaviour
- Identify and solve security and safety issues
- Work with retailers to ensure that Broadmead stores have access to police support and advice as necessary
- Work with Broadmead management to continually improve the safety of the whole shopping area
