Throuhout March
Light Box, The Happiness Project is currently taking place on Union Street, Broadmead (next to Greggs).

The project involves free public art workshops that promote positive thinking. It has been devised by local artists in consultation with leading positive psychologists. The aim is to promote the mental health of the wider Bristol community during the economic downturn.

Examples of the sessions include Humour and Playfulness with kinetic drawing, Gratitude with Japanese book-binding and Savouring and Flow with laminated mobiles.

It is taking place in partnership with Second Step Housing Association and is funded by Bristol City Council and NHS Bristol. It is the first public health intervention of its kind and an innovative approach to tackling some of the stigma that surrounds mental health.

The Mall Bristol and Cabot Circus also host a great range of events, promotions and entertainment.
